Bensedin is used for the treatment of anxiety and panic disorders. It belongs to a class of drugs called benzodiazepines which act on the brain and nerves (central nervous system) to produce a calming effect. This drug works by increasing the activity of a certain neurotransmitter (GABA) in the brain which results in relaxation and calmness.
